FAQs

Which platform will you use for my website?

WordPress.  It gives you full control over your website, is easy to use, and is used by millions and millions of people.

Approximately 1/3 of all websites use WordPress!  Sony, Disney, Etsy, UPS, TechCrunch, WalMart Electronics and many more.

What costs can I expect other than design services?

WordPress:  Your site will use the best page builder on the market called Elementor Pro that costs $50/year.

Domain:  You can buy your domain name through any registrar but I recommend buying it through SiteGround because they are also my hosting company of choice.

Hosting:  Your site’s files will need to be stored on a server so they can be accessed anytime by anybody who wants to visit your site.  I recommend SiteGround because of the high-quality service they have been providing for years.  (At a very reasonable cost.)

Privacy policy: If you are planning to get people to sign up for freebies by providing their names and email addresses then this is actually a legal requirement. I recommend The Contract Shop.

What if I don’t have the money right now?

I completely understand because I operate a small business too and occasionally have to make decisions about big investments.

Here are 3 points to consider:

First, I recommend looking at your website as an investment that will pay for itself and keep generating income.

Second, I would ask you to think deeply about what your monthly website income will do for your life.

Third, and finally, be honest with yourself about how hard you are willing to work to have a website.  For example, would you work 10 extra shifts to make it happen?

What if I’m not sure I’m ready for this investment?

Answer these three questions:

  1. Do you have a strong message?
  2. A clear niche?
  3. Great products and/or services that get results for your clients?

If you answered “Yes” to all three questions then you are ready.

*And if you need a little extra help getting there my packages include mini strategy workshops.
