How I launched WebsiteMike.com in 12 minutes.

I invite you to follow along and launch your website!  Pause and rewind as needed – and feel free to get in touch with any questions 🙂 The only paid service required to put your website up on the internet is website hosting.  The hosting service provider we recommend, and also use for our own websites, is SiteGround because they are reliable and have fast page loading speeds.

Step-By-Step

Login to SiteGround and click on ‘Websites‘ in the main navigation menu.  Then click on ‘New Website‘ in the new sub navigation menu.

Follow the instruction prompts on SiteGround – starting by clicking ‘Existing Domain‘ and entering your domain that you want to build a website for.  Continue following the simple instruction prompts to install an empty WordPress website.

Copy/Paste the DNS settings of the newly created website on SiteGround to the GoDaddy DNS settings for the domain you are working with.

Login to the backend of your newly created website by adding /wp-admin to the end of your domain.
